The 3000 of 2004 became 4000 people on 1st July 2006 at the Stawberry Field in Warsash. 

The official opening by the Mayor of Fareham was followed by the Tigers Motor Cycle Display Team.  The crowds enjoyed a Sailing Boat Running Race between young people from Warsash Sailing Club Cadets and 1st Warsash Sea Scouts.  The first Festival Scarecrow competition attracted and interesting group of straw characters to charm the visitors with judging by the Mayor.  Hook School children provided dancing with Warsash Band the music. 

60 local groups,organisations and businesses joined in the event to celebrate the life of the community.  It is estimated that about £10000 was raised by the groups and charities at the festival on the day.
