MUSIC @stmarywarsash

From classic choral to upbeat contemporary, from Taize to folk, the range of music for worship at St.Mary’s is broad and reflects the integrity and style of each service.
The ministry of music is provided by the Choir, and the Music Group. Sometimes an Ensemble accompanies the worship for Celtic and Taize style communion services made up of members of the Choir.
The church hosts a number of concerts during the year with local performers and by musicians. We have also hosted concerts featuring the Trumpet of Paul Hart accompanied on organ by Elizabeth LeGrove. Hook-with-Warsash C of E Academy hold services throughout the year.
Want to join in? If you enjoy choral singing then why not join the choir? Rehearsals are each Friday evening from 6.30pm-7.30pm in church.
If you play an instrument then why not join the music group? Rehearsals are on the second and fourth Sunday of the month at 7.30pm in church (after the evening service).
Alternatively, be encouraged to join the Celtaize Ensemble with your instrument at whatever level you play. A warm welcome awaits you.
