Prayer of the Week

For Easter:

God of glory, by the rising of your Son you have broken the chains of death and hell: fill your Church with faith and hope; for a new day has dawned and the way of life stands open in our Saviour Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Requesting Prayer at St.Mary's

Prayer Link exists to offer daily prayer support for anyone in the local community, family or friends in particular need.  Two 'chains' of people pledge to pray every day for the person for whom prayer is requested.  Whether they just offer a name or further details, many people have said what a support such prayer is through hard times.  If you would like to make use of the Prayer Link then please contact the vicar on 01489 572324 or Contact Vicar

Prayer Book   During the week a book can be found at the front of the church.  People whose names appear in the book are regularly prayed for in church along with prayers for those who are recently bereaved or those remembering a loved one on the anniversary of a death.  You are welcome to add names to the prayer book at any time when the church is open during the week.

Prayer Ministry refers to a team of trained people who are at most of our Sunday services and will be happy to pray with anyone about any matter of concern.  Two members of the team are usually available to pray during the administration of Communion, they will be in the back corner of the church.

Online Prayer Board  We will endeavour to offer prayers offered through the online link below at one of our services on the Sunday following the entry.

You must include static "WEC Connector template" in the page template to see any output
