From classic choral to upbeat contemporary, from Taize to folk, the range of music for worship at St.Mary's is broad and reflects the integrity and style of each service.

The ministry of music is provided by the Choir or the Music Group.  The organ is played by Josephine Wylie who leads the choir and plays with the music group. 

The larger St.Mary's Augmented Choir performs two concerts each year featuring classic sacred music.  Other concerts are also performed in the church, especially featuring the Trumpet of Paul Hart accompanied on organ by Elizabeth LeGrove, who regularly practice in the church.

Want to join in?

If you play an instrument then why not join the music group?  Rehearsals are on the second and fourth Sunday of the month at 1930 in church (after the evening service).

If you enjoy choral singing then whey not join the choir?  Rehearsals are each Friday evening from 1900-2000 in church.
