STAY AND PLAY
A warm, friendly, creative and lively parent and toddler group which meets each Thursday from 1.30pm until 3.30pm in the Church Hall during school term time. Just turn up, meet with other parents and carers, enjoy a cuppa whilst your child enjoys the craft and play with other toddlers and babies. The group is led by Revd Nicky-Sue.
Children are very welcome with their families at church on a Sunday. For those with younger children the right hand side of the church has soft play furnishing and a cabinet with boxes of quiet toys, books and colouring. These can be enjoyed at any time in any service. The toilet at the back of the church has a baby changing unit and an additional baby changing unit is in the Church Hall.
The 10am service has activities for all ages. At the start of the service at 10am a child lights the candles before our prayers and praise songs. Except for 1st Sunday of the month which is All Age Worship, the children and young people then depart to the Church Hall for activities in their age groups. They call the 3rd Sunday of the month ‘Grape Sunday’ because the children join in communion with hands on all age creative learning taking place in the church and shared with the adults.
